Pupil Safeguarding & Support Team

At Skelton, our primary intent is to ensure that your child/ren are provided with a safe and secure place of education in which to learn and grow. In order to help achieve this, we have a wonderful team of staff to help guide, support and nurture children and should they require any emotional or additional support, these staff are specifically trained and available to help at all times, whatever the issue or barrier.

    School Wellbeing Worker

    The School Wellbeing Service is an early intervention service that supports Skelton Primary and other schools in York, to ensure that the emotional and mental health needs of children and young people are met.

    Our Wellbeing Worker at Skelton is Mrs Kathy Jones, who is in school every Wednesday to support the needs of pupils across all year groups. Further details about the service are available at:
