Sycamore Class visited Low Mill in Askrigg for their long anticipated two-yearly residential trip.  What a week!  The weather was mostly horrendous but it didn't dampen their spirits.  They used the first damp day to hone their archery skills, took part in some bushcraft and explored their surroundings.  Advantage was taken of every weather window and the children explored the gorges, did some abseiling and climbing.  They all showed great teamwork and resilience in some very soggy conditions.  Everyone came back from their 5 day trip with full tummies, sore legs - and exhaustion (particularly the teachers!).  But they would do it all again...maybe in two years time after they have recovered!
