Clubs 2018

At Skelton, we think it is really important for children to have school clubs to attend, that will help them discover and develop their interests and talents.

Clubs also help to broaden children's thinking and give opportunities for informal, fun learning that sometimes the classroom cannot facilitate.

Please note that all the individuals involved in the delivery of extra curricular clubs at Skelton have been fully vetted by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

KS2 Hockey Club – February to Easter 2018

We are delighted to be able to offer a hockey club to pupils in Key Stage 2 starting Monday 26th February. The club will be led by Paul Robinson. Paul has lots of experience working in schools and would like to run a club once a week for the rest of the year. His club will alternate between Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in rotation with the Total Sports club

The hockey club will take place after school on Mondays from 3:30 – 4:30pm and will run up until Easter. As mentioned, the first session will begin on Monday 26th February and the final session will be on Monday 19th March. Children will be required to wear their PE kit for the sessions.

The cost of the club is being funded by school so there will be no charge to parents. A maximum of 20 children are able to take part therefore places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. If you would like your child to take part then please return the consent form to school as soon as possible. Only children who display good behaviour in school will be permitted to take part and Mr Robinson will, if necessary, exclude pupils from the sessions if he feels their behaviour isn’t positive.
